Students in the Young Business Leaders Signature School Program completed an engineering challenge yesterday where they had to collaborate to design and build a device that can pick up a ping pong ball from a distance and return it to a start line. The farther away the ball is, and the fewer materials they use to build your device, the higher the score.

Student Spotlight
Term two begins a new cycle for attendance and intervention plans. Please make sure your child has a doctor's or parent/guardian note for every absence and makes up any missed work. These notes should be taken by the student directly to the front vestibule of the school and placed in the absence notes bin each day. These notes can also be emailed by the parent to Ms. Ricks, Attendance Secretary, at lricks@mywcps.org.
