Parkside Planetarium Presents: "Forward to the Moon" at 6 p.m. March 26, 27 and 30. Be in one of the 65 comfy seats at a show as Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space.
NASA’s 21st century Artemis program, named after the Greek moon Goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe and land the first woman and person of color on the surface of the Moon. This show is produced by Fiske Planetarium in collaboration with TEND Studio. Run time is 22 minutes. Suitable for age 8 and up.

State law requires that all public schools in Maryland survey students about school climate. The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information about the quality and character of each school’s learning environment so that schools can promote a climate that supports student learning.
Students will take the Maryland School Survey during regular school hours by April 17th. Most WMS students will take it during their science and history class on either Monday, March 30, 2026 or Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

We are excited to tip off the WCPS Middle School Intramural Basketball & Cheerleading Culminating Event at Salisbury University’s Maggs Gym!
Girls Tournament: Tuesday, March 17
Boys Tournament: Wednesday, March 18
9:20 a.m.-1:30 p.m. both days
Maggs Gym at Salisbury University
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend to support our student-athletes as they wrap up a great intramural season. Parking will be available in the Perdue Hall – US 13 Parking Lot B. Since Salisbury University is currently on Spring Break, families will not be ticketed for parking.

Wi-Middle's 2nd attendance incentive is next Friday~AttenDANCE Sneaker Ball. In order to be eligible a scholar needed to be present 94% of the time since the 1st day of school (no more than a total of 5 excused or unexcused days missed). Eligible scholars will enjoy a live dj, dancing, socializing and snacks/drinks. We are looking forward to a great time!
