On Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 4-6 p.m., the Wicomico Middle administration, faculty and staff will welcome all students and their families to a new school year during the Back-to-School Open House. In order to assist with parking, we have staggered open house:
4-4:30 p.m., 6th City Stage (use front entrance) and 8thGrade (use bus ramp entrance);
4:30-5 p.m., 6th Grade (use gym entrance);
5-5:30 p.m. 7th Grade (use front entrance);
5:30-6 p.m., 6th-8th Young Business Leaders (use bus ramp entrance).
If you're unable to make the specific grade level time, you are welcome to come anytime between 4-6 p.m.
Parents may turn in required documents from the back-to-school invitation packet at the Open House. Once these documents have been accepted, the student is eligible to receive his/her schedule for the school year; please report to your student’s homeroom class to receive schedule and Family Portal information.
Come out and meet teachers, staff and the 2026-2027 WMS leadership team: new Principal Jason Miller, Assistant Principals Kimandi Binns and Tonya Wilson (welcome back to Wi Middle!), and new Deans of Students Pangiota Cody and Abby Diskin.

At Wicomico Middle School, we will implement The Warrior Way through our four schoolwide expectations: Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Relationships. These expectations will guide how we learn, interact, solve problems, and support one another throughout the school year.
This year, all students will be required to have a clear bookbag on the first day of school. The bag must be clear on all four sides. The Clear Book Bag Initiative is one component of our continued commitment to maintaining a safe and secure school environment.
