Mid-term progress reports come out today, and our students have a full week of school prior to the start of Winter Break. Here's a look ahead at the break schedule, which begins at regular dismissal time on Friday, Dec. 20.

Did you know your student can get medical care in school at Chesapeake Healthcare Center based out of Wicomico High School?. Whether it’s a sore throat, flu, asthma, dental or behavioral treatment, school-based health center staff can provide care for your child AND at no cost to your pocket! SICK? NOT FEELING WELL? Staff and students of Wicomico Middle School, don't forget that the school-based Wi Middle/Chesapeake Health Wellness Center is open for you on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visits to the Wellness Center are Free for students, meaning no out of pocket cost and they are able to be seen if they do not have insurance. If students have insurance, the insurance can be billed. Take advantage of the school-based Wi Middle/Chesapeake Health Wellness Center in the portable located in the back of the school. Today, Sunday, December 8, 2024 Wicomico Middle School represented the Wicomico County Public Schools float at the Salisbury Christmas Parade. with Dr. Stauffer Superintendent and other board representatives. Wicomico middle had Teacher of the Year Ms. Debbie Reynolds, principal Branham, administration, community school coordinator, social worker, guidance counselors, and even teachers. Our marching band, led by Ms. Hoffman, and our flags led by Ms. Brinson was amazing. We had a great representation. Lots of students and parents were happy to see us. Thank you to everyone for representing our outstanding school. We are Warrior Strong. 🖤💛💪🏾

This exciting event offered an inside look into careers in media and communication, as students gained valuable insights and inspiration from these experienced professionals. Huge shout out to Career Coach, Mrs. Brinson, for her commitment to providing Wi-Middle scholars with these wonderful experiences. 🖤💛

Wicomico Teacher of the Year nominations closed last night, and we received 973 nominations this year! Thank you to everyone who took time to nominate an amazing teacher for this recognition. Our schools and our school system look forward to celebrating many of the teachers of Wicomico County Public Schools throughout the Wicomico Teacher of the Year Recognition Program..

Mr. Jeff Lynd's trchnology class finished the Thangsgiving week witha fun and cool activity. They built and raced air canister cars. They had so much fun. 🏁 🏎 🖤💛💪🏾

Reminder: Students will be in school this Monday and Tuesday, and then schools and offices of Wicomico County Public Schools will be closed Nov. 27-29 for the Thanksgiving break. The school system will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
