Mrs. Menzel's Honors English 11 class finding text support from novels that they are reading while in our wonderful Parkside Media Center.

Yesterday, students in Mrs. Dudas’ Astronomy classes explored the fascinating science of optics through a Galileo Lens Lab, investigating how the focal point of a lens influences the way objects appear. We love seeing hands-on science in action at Parkside CTE! 💚🤍🐏🔭🐏🤍💚



Today Mr. Grande's history classes discussed and learned about trench warfare based on excerpts from All Quiet on the Western Front. We love seeing our teachers bring history to life in the classroom and have the students try to experience what it must have been like.

Calendar Reminder: Schools are closed this Friday, Oct. 17 for the Maryland State Education Association Convention. The Central Office and school offices will be open.

Parkside CTE MOVIE NIGHT is coming up in a few weeks! This will take place on the band field after parent/teacher visitation from 4 till 6. Visit your child's teachers and then have a free fun night with your family!

Today in Mrs. Holdren’s Spanish II class, students brought history to life through a live Hispanic Museum! Each student presented entirely in Spanish for one minute or more, showcasing influential Hispanic figures who have made remarkable contributions to our world. The activity not only celebrated Hispanic Heritage but also highlighted the students’ growing language skills and cultural appreciation. 🇪🇸💚
