The cross country team did a great job at their first meet of the season on Monday. It was a hot day on the toughest and longest course they will see all season. Mardela’s two top finishers are both rookies and this was their cross country debut. Evelyn Reeder finished 5th in the girl’s race and Jacob Samis finished 1st in the boy’s race. Congrats to Jacob on the win and congrats to all the runners for a great first race.
