We want to remind students and parents of the criteria to participate in the Warrior Fun in the Sun event at the end of the year, as it requires students to walk the warrior way all school year long.

The first meeting of the Mardela Dungeons and Dragons and Card Gaming Club was a huge success. So successful that we outgrew the temporary library. The next meeting will be Tuesday, September 24th, after school in Mr. McRae’s Tech Ed lab room. If you’re interested in joining, please see Ms. Brown in the library for a permission slip.

MARDELA supports the START WITH HELLO project to help create greater connections within our school. Today is the kick off with Introduce a New Friend, where students were telling us facts about a new friend they met today during lunch, and then they each received a sticker or bracelet. Start With Hello is one of Sandy Hook Promise’s no-cost Know the Signs programs and teaches students to be more socially inclusive and connected to each other. #StartWithHello and #StartWithHelloWeek #MMHScounselingTeam
