The JMB 2023 Homecoming Dance is on for tonight from 8:00 – 10:00pm.
With the tropical storm in the area, please allow extra time when traveling this evening, and drive with care.
Entry to the dance will be at the A wing doors, with parking in the student parking lot. Photo ID is required at check in. Please be prepared to keep check in moving. We can look up JMB students, but it is imperative that outside guests have a photo id.
Resale of tickets is prohibited. Tickets can only be used by the registered ticket purchaser.
Dress for the dance is semi formal. This means shirt and tie with dress pants, or a dress.
Refreshments will include lemonade, ice water, and an assortment of cookies. Shoe and coat check will be available. Card games, and casual games of cornhole and spike ball will be available.
The dance begins at 8:00pm and ends promptly at 10:00pm. Please make sure you have arranged transportation home. Check in closes at 9:00pm, so please arrive before this time. Once you have departed the dance, there is no reentry.
We look forward to seeing you tonight and seeing the photos of you looking incredible. Please do remember that the student code of conduct is still in effect. Please continue to be respectful and responsible.

There are many challenges when transitioning from middle school to high school, so this year, during flex, all freshmen students will be following a curriculum that will help them navigate high school better. The curriculum includes learning how to access X2, learning how to construct an e-mail, registering for "school links" (a program that will help students explore careers and apply to colleges), exploring extracurricular programs and many more! Implemented into this curriculum are mini challenges that students can participate in to win prizes! This week, Ms. Harmon delivered prizes to 10 students who won the mini challenge!

Last week, students nominated their fellow classmates as "Outstanding Clippers". This week, students voted on those nominations. Here are your Outstanding Clipper Finalists. Seniors: Who is the Most Outstanding Clipper? Find out at the Homecoming Football Game on Friday night! All finalists, check your school email for Friday night details.
